Sustainability

A quieter, longer view

Our approach is grounded in preservation, thoughtful specification and workmanship that extends the useful life of every finish.

Our working policy

Responsibility in the detail

01

Preserve before replacing

Where condition and context allow, we favour careful repair and restoration over unnecessary replacement. Existing details carry material value, craft and history that deserve to be retained.

02

Specify with purpose

Products are considered for the demands of the surface, their durability, repairability and effect on the finished environment. Lower-impact systems are preferred where they are technically appropriate and supported by credible product information.

03

Prepare for longevity

Good preparation is environmental practice as much as craft. A finish that adheres, performs and ages well lengthens maintenance cycles and avoids premature rework.

04

Use materials carefully

Our policy is to plan quantities thoughtfully, protect materials that can be reused and follow the correct routes for handling and disposing of coatings, packaging and site waste.

Clear claims, credible choices

We prefer specific, supportable information to broad environmental labels. As products and working practices evolve, we will keep this policy under review and describe improvements plainly.
