1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a computer or mobile device. Similar technologies include browser storage, tracking pixels and device identifiers. Rules governing storage and access technologies can apply whether or not the information identifies an individual.
2. What this website uses
| Category | Current use | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | ld_cookie_consent remembers the visitor's privacy choice for 180 days. | Required to remember the requested setting |
| Analytics | _ga distinguishes visitors and _ga_CWLVKMHGTD maintains session state. Google sets both for up to two years. | On by default; visitors can switch it off at any time |
| Advertising | Not used | Would require a prior choice |
| Personalisation | Not used | Would require a prior choice unless essential |
3. Google Analytics and external services
Google Analytics receives page paths, traffic sources, general location, browser and device information, and selected events such as consultation, email, WhatsApp and gallery interactions. We do not send enquiry text, names, email addresses or telephone numbers to Analytics. Analytics data is retained in our GA4 property for up to 14 months.
Website fonts are hosted locally, so no request is made to Google Fonts. Links to Instagram, WhatsApp and external press archives are ordinary links. Those services may use cookies after you choose to visit them, under their own policies.
4. Your cookie choices
Statistical analytics is enabled by default under the statistical purposes exception in PECR. The first-visit banner provides a direct control to switch it off, and the preference cookie then remembers that choice. Cookie preferences can be reopened from the footer at any time.
5. Analytics controls and future changes
Analytics is used only to produce aggregate statistics for improving this website. Switching analytics off disables further measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies. Advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. If the provider, purpose or material cookie details change, this policy and the control mechanism will be reviewed.
6. Server records
Our hosting infrastructure may create standard server logs for security, fault diagnosis and reliable operation. These are server records, not cookies placed on your device. Where they contain personal information, they are handled as described in our Privacy Notice.
